Black Rose

They watered you
they watered me

Green sepals and a
beautiful bud
our leaves
our thorns
alike.

The soil alike
our roots
intertwined
I thought we'll be
thrown away.

You motivated me
you are beautiful
you said
in your own way.

They looked at me
but did not understand
turned to
you
sunshine to you
my love I said.

We both don't move
But you move.

They watered you
they watered me

They plucked you
They plucked me

You ended up in lover's arms
And I on soil again
of a burial ground.

You still said I
was beautiful
But who saw?

No one to bat an eye
at the black rose
 "More sunshine to you"
You beautiful pink one.

Three Fishes

Life is becoming too simple
Like the water of  a quiet pond
Silent surface, but life inside
The thing is though
I don't wish to dip my head in.

I could jump from where I am
into who I am
to be the only one alive
in this deep blue water.

I try to drown everytime
but the void inside
resurfaces me.

She stopped me this time,
said I'll come with you
I took her hands and jumped we
She leapt into the darkness
down below.

"There's nothing here, why is that so?
Just dead fishes, waters dark and slow"
She said I can help you bring some light
and released she three fishes
She swam above
her job was done.

I looked back and thought there will be light
The goddess of  had left all but to look at
three plastic fishes.

Tranquility (1)

Clad in a red robe
He washes his face under the waterfall
Everything is crystal clear
He gazes into the clouds
A short figure is coming behind
Distant smoke he can smell
It reminds him of a simpler time
Of chasing monkeys with his pals
Dewdrops on orchid trees
Give a sense of
Tranquility

But he’s not satisfied
With metaphors
He takes a sip
Gets on his feet
He needs his stick
An old stick
A gift from his mentor
So he says
Sturdy like the man himself
He takes his teachings seriously
For it his only half his trek

It is day 13
No he hasn’t yet
He doesn’t know if he’s close
There are though footsteps
Bigger than his
Sunk into the rocks
It is not the way of common men
For they simply do not
Understand
They seek peace in a lover’s hands
With fragile hearts and brittle bones
They can only contemplate
But he does not put his mind to that
For he has bigger things
To tread wet green rocks and
And jungles free
In search of
Tranquility.
(To be continued)

Beside

It is dark blue
But pitch black down here
I can see you
I can feel you
But I miss you
The night is cold
But you are not
For you always have been
Radiant.

I see silver moonlight
In your eyes
You are now just glass
Waiting for someone
To push you over
So you can break apart.

And once again I join you
And join you
To see what it’s like
To be so close to a certain end
Knowing this isn’t it
For the one you trust
Is right beside

But are you?

Steps

I walked the desert today
No asphalt, no trails
Just hot unforgiving terrain
You cannot lay slow steps
If you do
It will trap you

My skin is burning
My legs are giving up
Still I test myself once again
I’ll cross someday
This place which ate men

There was although
A muddy patch
Quicksand
I took a step of relief
Cool cool mud
But I cannot stay
I’m sinking
I must move

I seek comfort in people
In the same way
It is a desert indeed
I’ve found quicksand

Dilemma
Stay or move?
I’ve given up control
I’m sinking.

Unfinished

Little do you know
About what echoes in the seas,
The show of supersonic screams,
About what they perform, about what they dream.
 Little do you know
About what rots on the surface,
The little beings that consume his remains,
His bony hand up high, his head in the ground,
Holding a faded family photograph,
This corpse, their stage,

Come all fishes and surround.
