Live

I walked on
And on
And on
Wore the shoes
they gave me
Never enjoyed the sand
Mirage of appreciation
And sand dunes
of lies
What I hold is
Slipping away
I am in woe
of losing what I don’t want.

I set the roof so high
I can’t hear the raindrops
Silver is the sky
and my memories in
Monochrome
Home
Where is home?
On this the stairway
to all things great?
This what I made love to?
A motherly embrace?
The unholy pleasure of
Substance?
Hence I deem
it meaningless.

That hickey on your body, meaningless
Top of the stairway,
meaningless
The strip under your tongue,
meaningless
The castle on the clouds,
meaningless
Warm touch of mother,
meaningless.

Mother
Dilemma
I do not know
Whether to live
Or to live longer?
